Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed concluded his official visit to Malaysia

Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, concluded a four-day official visit to Malaysia yesterday. At the farewell event of Malaysian King Sultan Abdullah Riyadh Al-Din Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Prince Regent of the Malaysian state of Pahang, Hassanal Ibrahim Alim Shah. During this visit, Sultan Abdullah met Rayat Al-Din Al-Mustafa Billah Shah in the capital, Kuala Lumpur, where they exchanged pleasantries reflecting the depth of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. The friendly people and Malaysia, His Highness and Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim discussed friendship and cooperation between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them to serve common interests. In a meeting with the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the establishment of two academic chairs for scientific research at institutions of higher learning in Kuala Lumpur was approved: the first in the name of Sheikh Zayed at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies in Malaysia, promoting studies and academic research in the regions of West Asia and Southeast Asia, and Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint at the National Defense University of Malaysia. Peace and Security and support for peacekeeping operations at the United Nations to support efforts to empower women and girls in the second sector under Mubarak’s name. During the visit, a joint declaration was signed between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Malaysia to begin negotiations to reach a comprehensive economic partnership agreement, and ways to improve cooperation in the energy sector, especially clean energy, and climate action.

Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed visited the “Langkawi International Aeronautics and Space Exhibition” with Sultan Abdullah Riyaduddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Prince Hasanal Ibrahim Aleem Shah.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi was briefed on the exhibition’s inspection tour as part of his official visit to Malaysia, apart from the pavilion, the pavilions of several participating Malaysian navigation and space technology companies. It saw a host of air shows, including a performance by the Emirati Edge team, and the Emirates Knights Aerobatic team.

Caracal, one of Edge Group’s companies, during its visit to the exhibition, signed an agreement with Malaysian company Ketech Asia to enhance cooperation and develop partnership boundaries between them.

During the inspection tour of the exhibition, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail bin Muhammad Faraj Fariz Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Muhammad bin Ahmad Al Bawarti, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani bin Ahmad Al Sayudi, and Head of the Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi, Muhammad Ali Al Shurafa and Head of the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi, Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi and the country’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Khaled Khanem Al Qaid.
