“Fire with Fire” producer Karis was furious with Bashar, and the director accused him of “rumors” and “dishonesty”.

Lebanese producer Sadiq al-Sabah expressed his “confusion” over Syrian actress Kharis Bashar’s criticism of her compatriot “Fire with Fire” series director Muhammad Abdelaziz.

He pointed out that the Syrian artist might have made such statements because of the “fascination of the media meeting”, hoping, as he said, that he would reconsider his words.

The Lebanese producer denied the company’s desire to sideline Karis Bashar after his statements, insisting that “Al-Sabah Company is like an Arab artistic family for all the stars”, but that “the actor’s job is only to fulfill his role”.

He said, “But if he wants to work with us, we have to accept the vision of the representative in the company, whose role is defined to include, but the final seal rests with the director because he respects the hierarchy. It is the profession that leads us to safety.”

Sadiq al-Sabah defended the director, Muhammad Abdul Aziz, pointing out that his revisions saved the work and allowed it to see the light.

Director Mohamed Abdelaziz attacked his countryman Gharis Bashar, commenting that the “dishonesty” consisted of “rumours, denial and changing the facts”, without mentioning him by name.

He considered the jealousy of the Syrian artist’s colleagues “dishonesty”.

A technical crisis erupted between the author of the “Fire with Fire” series, Rami Ghousa, and its director, Mohamed Abdelaziz, with the director accusing the “Ghousa” of making extensive changes to the series, which “pushed it in a different direction,” according to the series’ editor.
