The Harry Potter writer receives death threats from transgender supporters

Date:

London (AFP) – The author of the famous “Harry Potter” adventure series, British novelist JK has revealed. Rowling said Monday that she had received several death threats from activists accusing her of hating transgender people.

In a series of tweets, the novelist wrote, “I have received many death threats and now I can cover the walls of my house with it,” but he insisted that this would not calm him down.

He also complained that three transgender activists “filmed themselves” in front of his house. The network posted on Twitter.

Announced Scottish police told AFP the case was “under investigation”. Two years ago, Rowling angered transgender people when she posted a satirical tweet criticizing her use of the phrase “menopause”. The word women is enough.

Britain has been embroiled in a heated debate over the issue of transgender people for years, with many intellectuals, teachers and professors accusing it of hating converts.

Speaking about gender issues, Rowling said she and other women faced intimidation campaigns, including harassment through social media (…) networks.

Rowling accused three activists of posting her address online “in order to intimidate her and prevent her from defending women’s rights on the basis of gender.”
