“General” postponement of the Emirates Retirees Association

The Emirates Retirees Association has postponed its regular general meeting due to lack of quorum, the recent weather conditions and the consequent disruption of movement in some parts of the country.

A meeting of the association was held last Thursday evening at the police academy in the presence of the president of the association Obaid Hadid, vice president Salem Ali, secretary of the association Aisha Al-Maudin and Ahmad Al-Shaibani. Obaid said: The situation faced by the country in the last two days was one of the most important reasons for the lack of quorum in the adjourned general assembly meeting to elect a new board of directors, discuss and approve the report of the board of directors in the previous period, approve the budget and final account and listen to the suggestions and opinions of the members, noted that the wise Thanks to leadership and its great role in helping and rescuing the affected people through its guidelines.

He stressed that the board of directors of the association seeks to include all retirees in the state, from all parties, as its members to achieve its many goals of serving this section of the society, especially that many of them may continue to provide; The association has more than 4,000 retirees, of whom 320 have completed their registration, including military and civilian retirees, and can benefit from this diverse experience to improve efficiency within government and private organizations and institutions.
