Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, coach of Roma, received a red card in the Italian league with his guest Hellos Verona in a 2-2 draw as Roma needed two young substitutes to make up for its two-goal deficit.

Antonin Barrack and Adrian Tamesi scored for the visiting team in the first 20 minutes, but the goal was canceled by the video referee for an offside in the first half.

Fortunately, 18-year-old Christian Valpado left the bench in the second half and scored just three minutes later, scoring his first goal only in his second appearance for Roma.

Fellow substitute Eduardo Bow, 19, equalized just six minutes before the end of normal time.

Before the end of the match, Mourinho was ruled out due to injury; To counter one of the referee’s decisions, Moreno grabbed the ball with his hand and kicked it towards the field, then his assistants grabbed him and tried to block him, but he ran towards the stadium and spoke to him. Roma showed him a red card for hugging Verona’s coach before leaving the field amid applause from the fans.

The former coach of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur was outraged at the spectators’ attempt to waste their time, which earned the 59-year-old referee a red card for resisting blowing the whistle for making a mistake against one of his players.

This is not the first time Mourinho has been sacked because the Portuguese international has received numerous red and yellow cards throughout the season and has made headlines for negative reasons.

Earlier this week, he and Roma became part of an investigation after it was revealed the club had appointed former referee Gian Pavlo Calvarez as an external adviser; To assist the club and the referee in all matters relating to VAR technology in the league.

Mourinho, the former Inter Milan coach, has been in talks with the club’s owners after Roma started their worst league season in 43 years.

On Saturday evening, their tie with Verona led them to seventh place in the league, one point behind their closest rival, sixth-placed Lazio.

Mourinho’s team has not won all four of their last four matches, and only four of their last 10 Serie A matches.

Mourinho will be sidelined from leading his team on the journey to face Spain in the next round of the league next Sunday.
