Peace greetings to Ukraine at the Giorgio Armani event in Milan

Date:

Giorgio Armani ended Milan Fashion Week with a quiet show because he decided to drop any music that passes his models as a mark of respect to all those who suffered in Ukraine as a result of the Russian occupation of the country.

Ukraine’s tragic events have added to the atmosphere in many European cities, including Milan, which has seen protests in support of the Ukrainian opposition. According to designer Giorgio Armani, who is known for his involvement in what’s happening in the world, we all remember that he was the first designer to cancel his show after the outbreak of corona epidemic in Milan week in 2020.

He wanted to say in his last performance that there was no time for celebration through the peaceful atmosphere floating over his performance, revealing the harsh reality experienced by the victims of the war by Russian forces on Ukraine.

The show began with an audio recording of designer Giorgio Armani speaking in English: “My decision not to use any music on the show is a sign of respect for the people affected by the tragedy.” The first designer to use his presentation to condemn the atrocities committed against the Ukrainian people was Mr.

Mr. This sympathy that Armani wanted to express may have been due to the fact that he was born in 1934 and was 11 years old at the end of World War II, when he recalled the devastating effects of war on European soil. Today he feels sympathy from his experience of the impact of war on souls and people.

Giorgio Armani’s upcoming autumn-winter collection is called “Light Science”. It features the looks of about 85 women and men, including the house’s founder, Mr. Armani focused on the details and returned to the codes that always defined fluidity in materials and accuracy in lines. As for the designer’s interest in the role of “Art Deco”, it manifested itself in the design of the exhibition hall, which was decorated with a prominent geometric feel and silver lights.

These elements are evident in fashion designs, their clear cuts and adoption of velvet as the basic material for women’s and men’s fashion, while maintaining a rich color palette ranging from dark blue and dark gray to black. Below are some of Giorgio Armani’s fall-winter looks.
