Emirates News Agency – Dubai University’s Board of Trustees reviews financial and management report and 2024 budget

DUBAI, November 1 / WAM / The Board of Trustees of Dubai University gave the approval during its meeting chaired by Majid Hamad Al Shamsi, Chairman of its Board of Trustees and Member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.

The financial and administrative report up to September this year was reviewed and the University’s budget for 2024 was reviewed.

The President of the University, Dr. Isa Al Bastaki presented the report. He also presented the report on the programs, events, activities and achievements achieved in the academic and administrative fields and the international conferences organized by the University and the delegates who visited it. In the current year, all these are keen for the university to excel, maintain the quality of education and keep everything new. It also includes new programs for undergraduate and postgraduate levels offered by the university in the current academic year, which are in line with its vision and strategic plans, which are in line with the next fifty-year plan. The Council discussed the University President’s report on the role of the Ministry of Education’s Education Accreditation Commission for the University’s programs and the renewal of the International Association of Business Schools’ accreditation for Dubai Business School programs in the next year. Future work in monitoring and improving the quality of education to provide better skills to the students according to the requirements of local and international accreditations.

His Excellency Majid Al Shamsi and members of the Board of Trustees appreciated the academic and administrative achievements, programs and activities and international conferences implemented by the University during the last academic year. Law, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Security, Environment and Future Studies are all new in important fields.

He thanked the university president, his representatives and the university family represented by the academic and administrative task force, who contributed to the implementation of these programs and activities and the achievement of these achievements.
