The Myriad Expands Student Living Model Across Saudi Arabia

The Myriad, an award-winning student accommodation brand, is expanding its presence across Saudi Arabia.

The brand is represented in the Kingdom by Dedicated Housing Company (DHC), a SAR 2 billion joint venture that supports student and professional co-living. The partnership includes Sumou Global Investment, Majd Investment and Strategic Housing Group. DHC is now reviewing land opportunities in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province to meet rising demand from students in higher education.

As part of the expansion, The Myriad is reviewing sites between 20,000 and 50,000 square metres to build new communities close to major universities and public transport links. The plan supports Vision 2030 goals, which aim to increase private-sector participation and raise quality standards in housing.

The Myriad is a student living brand operated in the Kingdom through DHC. Its properties are designed to offer a community-centred model aligned with regional culture and values. With existing developments in Dubai and Muscat, the brand is known for creating connected residential environments that include furnished rooms, security systems, sports and recreation facilities, retail and dining options, and planned year-round activities.

The Myriad has received multiple awards for its accommodation model, including World Realty Congress Awards and the Global Recognition Awards for community engagement. It also received the Best Residential Project – Affordable Housing award in 2024 and 2025 at the Arabian Best of the Best Awards. The brand is part of a joint venture with Asset Living, a major US property management firm that oversees more than 450,000 units.

“At The Myriad, affordability and high standards come together seamlessly,” said Vik Rao, Group CEO of SHG and DHC. “The Myriad’s resident-first approach creates safe, efficient, and joyful living environments that support students academically, socially, and personally. With a proven track record in the UAE and Oman, and given the Kingdom’s rapidly growing university-age population, expanding The Myriad into Saudi Arabia is both a natural and essential next step.”

The expansion aligns with ongoing development programmes in Saudi Arabia aimed at supporting high-value projects and improving student-focused living.
