Meta has launched its Meta One subscription service in the UAE, with single-app plans starting at Dh5.99 a month and bundle tiers reaching Dh46.99 a month for creators and businesses. The service brings together more than 50 features across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Meta AI into a tiered paid offering, while the core experience on each app remains free.
What the Meta One subscription costs in the UAE
The pricing varies by app and tier. Gulf News reported that WhatsApp Plus is priced at Dh5.99 a month, while Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus each cost Dh7.99 a month as standalone plans in the UAE.
For those who want access across all three apps, the Core bundle combines Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus at a discounted rate compared to subscribing separately, according to Meta’s plans page. Individual bundle plans start at Dh22.99 a month.
Creator and business tiers, which include options to apply for a verified badge and impersonation protection subject to eligibility, start at Dh46.99 a month.
The Meta newsroom confirmed that globally, single-product plans start at $2.99 a month for WhatsApp Plus and $3.99 a month each for Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus, with Core and Premium individual bundles starting at $7.99 and $19.99 a month respectively.
Features unlocked at each tier
Single-app subscribers receive features specific to each platform. Instagram Plus has added custom direct-message and Story fonts, notifications for specific Story viewers, and DM previews. Facebook Plus is adding Messenger customisation options, expanded Reels insights, and super reactions across Reels and Feed posts.
WhatsApp Plus will shortly test chat and media backup storage alongside Focus Schedules, which allow users to mute or hide chats on a set timetable.
Bundle subscribers get expanded access to compute-intensive AI tools, including image and video generation through Meta’s Muse models. Meta AI’s blog describes Muse Image, developed by Meta Superintelligence Labs, as the company’s most advanced image generation model, launched on 7 July 2026. Reuters reported that basic use of Muse Image with Meta AI is free, with additional creation capabilities available through the subscription tiers.
Meta said early testing showed more than half of bundle subscribers used both AI and expression features, with tools such as Restyle and voice effects on Instagram among the top reasons cited for subscribing. More than 15 million subscriptions and trials have been recorded across the plans.
The Premium tier, which carries the highest expanded monthly AI usage allowance for eligible features, is open only to personal Meta accounts in good standing. Facebook Pages and Instagram professional business accounts do not qualify for Premium, according to the Meta Help Centre.
For businesses, the service adds an enhanced profile showing a website, locations and customer reviews, a prominent follow button on Reels, and automatic follow invitations for users who engage with content. Businesses also receive expanded access to Meta Business Agent for around-the-clock customer query handling.
Meta said further features are planned, including Edits Plus, which will add cloud storage for syncing projects across devices and greater use of an Edits assistant to analyse Instagram insights and generate content ideas. AI glasses integration is also listed as forthcoming.
