Sudanese police have refused to shoot “civilian protesters”

Date:

Today, Sudanese state television quoted police as refusing to open fire on protesters in various cities across the country in a bid to regain power.

According to Sky News Arabia, Sudanese police have denied allegations that three people were shot dead by security forces during a series of protests across Sudan.

Meanwhile, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, media adviser to the Sudanese army commander, announced that 12 Sudanese security forces had been wounded; The condition of 3 of them is worrying.

On “Saturday”, about 4 million Sudanese took to the streets of the capital, Khartoum, Omturman and Khartoum North, and on the streets of more than 25 Sudanese cities and 50 cities around the world to protest against military rule.

Protesters demanded the restoration of civilian rule, the release of Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdock, detained ministers and politicians, and the restoration of the constitutional document with all its provisions.

The move comes four days after al-Burhan declared a state of emergency and dissolved the Sovereign Council and ministers, dismissing several diplomats and officials.
