The Microsoft Edge browser is now available for Linux

After testing the Chromium-based Edge browser for over a year, Microsoft has finally released the standard version of the browser, as the Edge web browser is now fully supported on Linux and will receive regular updates via the standard channel.

Installer for Edge Linux is now available for users to download via the company’s official website.

The Linux version is compatible with major distributions and the company deb and. When it comes to rpm and features for the Edge, the Linux version of the browser is similar to its Windows and macOS features.

The enhanced privacy and security features provided by the browser can be very important, in addition, the browser comes with some basic features like vertical tabs, grouping, custom battery storage mode and many more.

For the uninitiated, the web browser has received a new beta update for the Edge 96. This update brings improvements to PDF scrolling, PWA applications and more. PWAs are now more native and integrated with additional support for protocol bindings.
