During the meeting, which was held at the Ministry’s Public Office in Abu Dhabi, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in a number of areas of public interest, based on the special bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.

The two sides exchanged views on the progress of the situation at the regional and international levels and the developments in the region.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the arrival of His Excellency Bokhton Auresk, emphasizing the special bilateral relations connecting the United Arab Emirates and Romania and the promising opportunities for growth and development at all levels.

For his part, His Holiness Bokhton Orescu, during the meeting, offered his condolences and sympathy for the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Saeed Al Nahyan, expressing his wishes for continued progress and prosperity under the United Arab Emirates. The head of state, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saeed Al Nahyan, said, “May God protect him.”

He expressed his country’s desire to enhance opportunities for joint cooperation with the UAE in various fields, praising the country’s leading position at the regional and international levels.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Climate Change and Environment, His Excellency Maryam Bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Al Muhairi.
