In the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, Real Madrid meet their English host Chelsea today in the presence of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, who has recovered from the new Corona virus.
Ancelotti suffered a concussion last week and missed Real’s 2-1 win over Zelda Vigo in the Spanish League a few days ago.
Ancelotti was expected to miss the match hosted by Stamford Bridge.
But Real Madrid on Wednesday announced that they would be heading to London to catch up with the team after a negative test for the Ancelotti Corona virus.
“Real Madrid are pleased to announce that our coach Carlo Ancelotti has tested negative for the new Corona virus, so he will travel to London this morning to join the first team,” Real Madrid said in a statement.
Real Madrid are expecting their first win in six matches against Chelsea, who have beaten Royal Club since the last edition.
