Angelina Jolie is preparing to turn The Outsiders into a Broadway show with the help of her 15-year-old daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.
This isn’t Jolie’s first Broadway production, but this time her youngest daughter will join her on stage as an assistant.
Vivian is one of the six children Angelina shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt, with whom she is currently in a divorce battle. Other children: Maddox (age 22), Pax (age 19), Zahara (age 18), Shiloh (age 17), and Vivian’s twin brother Knox.
Mother and daughter were spotted out and about in New York on Tuesday afternoon, where Angelina looked radiant in a flowing navy blue dress paired with a matching jacket and Christian Louboutin heels. Vivian appeared casually dressed in a white round neck sweater, loose black pants, accessories and Converse sneakers.
Angelina is currently executive producing The Outsiders, a Broadway musical based on Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 film. The original film was star-studded, including Tom Cruise, Diane Lane, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon and Emilio Estevez.
The cast and show dates for this new production have yet to be announced, and Vivian will be a volunteer production assistant and will participate directly in the show, according to the newspaper. Metro British.
