Azizi Developments, one of the UAE’s foremost private developers, has confirmed a new partnership with Dorlet, the acclaimed Spanish security technology firm, to supply and implement state-of-the-art access control systems for Burj Azizi, set to be the world’s second-tallest tower.

Dorlet, headquartered in Spain, is recognised internationally for its expertise in sophisticated access control, security management and identity verification technologies. With extensive global experience delivering integrated systems for airports, government buildings, corporate landmarks and large-scale mixed-use developments, the company is noted for its advanced software, meticulously engineered hardware and seamless compatibility with complex smart-building ecosystems.

By partnering with Dorlet, Azizi Developments strengthens its commitment to equipping Burj Azizi with secure, intelligent and future-ready infrastructure. Dorlet’s system will streamline operational efficiency, enabling fully automated, safe and frictionless movement across the tower’s residential, hospitality, commercial and service zones. Its intelligent platform enables real-time oversight, layered authentication and scalable integration with emerging technologies.

Mr. Farhad Azizi, Group CEO of Azizi Group, said: “Our partnership with Dorlet reflects our ongoing efforts to integrate the best of proven global technologies into Burj Azizi, ensuring the tower operates at the highest standards of security, innovation, and user experience. Dorlet’s expertise in access control aligns seamlessly with our vision of creating a landmark that redefines luxury, efficiency, and safety. With every new collaboration, we move closer to delivering one of Dubai’s most iconic achievements.”

Set for completion in 2029, the 725-metre, 140-storey tower will feature a diverse blend of homes, hotel accommodation, retail outlets and entertainment venues. A premium mall filled with elite fashion brands will anchor the retail component, while the residential areas will encompass one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Every 20 floors, a dedicated amenities level will offer swimming pools with sauna and steam rooms, a gym and yoga studio, a spa, games facilities, a business hub, a kids’ play zone, a cinema, dining options, and a supermarket. Above these will sit a collection of ultra-luxury penthouses, spanning one to five bedrooms and benefiting from private amenity access. Residences and penthouses will each have separate lobbies to ensure exclusivity.

Higher still will be a seven-star all-suite hotel inspired by seven cultural themes: Arabic, Chinese, Persian, Indian, Turkish, French and Russian. The hotel will offer themed restaurants, an Emirati signature dining venue, a luxury ballroom and an exclusive beach club, setting a new global benchmark for hospitality.

Burj Azizi is poised to break several world records, including the highest observation deck at level 130, the highest hotel lobby at level 111, the highest nightclub at level 126, the highest restaurant at level 122 and the highest hotel room at level 118. At its summit, a unique museum will document the tower’s creation, featuring multimedia displays, historical narratives, photography and architectural exhibits.

Azizi Developments welcomes visitors to its Sales Gallery located on the 13th floor of the Conrad Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road.
