Barcelona ripped Antwerp’s net with five goals in the Champions League

Spain’s Barcelona continued their strong attacking form, inflicting a heavy five-goal loss on Belgian hosts Antwerp in the eighth group of the European Champions League on Tuesday.

Portugal striker Joao Felix emerged as the star of the tournament scoring two goals and assisting one goal.
Joao Felix moved to Barcelona at the start of the current season, arriving on loan from Atletico Madrid.
Joao Felix (11 and 66), Poland’s Robert Lewandowski (19), Antwerp defender Gilles Battai (23 own errors), and Kavi (54) scored Barcelona’s goals.
So Barcelona produced another strong display last weekend when they beat Betis by five in the league.

Early in the second half, young Coffey added Barcelona’s fourth goal with a left-footed shot from close range (54). Joao Felix then scored his second and fifth individual goal for his team, capitalizing on a perfect pass from Brazil’s Rafinha (66).

Barcelona played its 96th match in various competitions under the supervision of its coach Javi Hernandez and it won 59 times, tied 17 times and lost 19 times.

On the other hand, Antwerp’s training is overseen by Dutchman Marc van Pommel, a former Barcelona midfielder.

In the same division, Portugal’s Porto beat Ukraine’s Shakhtar Donetsk 3-1. Brazil’s Anderson Galino (8 and 15) and Iran’s Mehdi Taremi (29) led the way to victory, with Venezuela’s Kevin Kelce (13) leading the way.
