Yesterday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi welcomed his Algerian envoy Abdel-Majid Debouin, who was on a two-day business trip to Egypt, to the Cairo airport.
This is the visit of the Algerian President to Egypt after the visit of the Algerian Foreign Minister Ramdane Lamamra to Egypt on the 17th of this month.
The visit will last for two days, during which the two countries will work to strengthen bilateral relations and implement some joint bilateral committees to enhance bilateral cooperation.
According to Ambassador of the Egyptian Presidency Bassam Roddy, the meeting will discuss the holding of the next session of the Joint High Level Committee at the level of the two Prime Ministers and setting its date for the current year.
The visit will be a testament to the holding of political consultation sessions between the Foreign Ministers of the two countries to reach common ground on the various challenges facing the Middle East and North Africa, to unite the Arab scene and to support a joint Arab state. Action to achieve stability, security, cooperation and solidarity.
It highlights the situation in the state of Libya and the effect of the Libyan government’s efforts to achieve security and stability with the support of all neighboring Arab countries, and the importance of restoring Libya’s unity. Sovereignty over the territory of the Libyan people will be restored until the mercenaries leave Libya without recapture.
The visit will include the political situation in Tunisia, providing all support to Tunisian President Guiz Syed and the permanent mission of his government to achieve security and stability in Tunisia.
