Contract developments, new Barcelona striker Vitor Roque


Barcelona officials have agreed to add Atletico Madrid’s Brazilian striker Vitor Roque to support the Catalan side during the current summer transfer window.

Fabrizio Romano, a reliable Italian journalist, noted that Barcelona have agreed with the officials of Brazil’s Atletico Paranaense to sign Vitor Roque on a 3-year contract for 30 million euros.

Fabrizio said on his official page on the social networking site “Twitter”: “30 million euros, plus an additional 30 million euros, part of which is related to the Ballon d’Or.”

He continued, “Both clubs have signed documents until June 2030.”

And Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” revealed that Barcelona have signed the 18-year-old from Atletico Paranaense for an additional €10 million over €35 million.

A newspaper close to Barcelona claimed the Catalan club had sent contracts to the player to end the matter.

Barcelona announce date for return to training in preparation for friendly clash

Yesterday, Friday evening, the Spanish club Barcelona released an official statement, revealing the date for the return of the first football team to group training in preparation for the new season.

And FC Barcelona confirmed in their statement: “FC Barcelona will prepare for the (2023-2024) season next Monday, at the start of the season with regular medical examinations and fitness tests.”

He added, “FC Barcelona will return to full action on Monday, July 10, with the first team returning to work, undergoing routine medical and fitness tests in the morning, and then taking to the pitch.”

And he continued, “There will be morning and evening sessions on Tuesday and another training session on Wednesday. After a day off on Thursday, two training sessions on Friday, another on Saturday and then a day off on Sunday.”

Barcelona concluded its statement: “On July 19, they will travel to America to prepare for friendlies against Juventus (July 22), Arsenal (July 26), Real Madrid (July 29) and Milan (August 1).”
