“Covid-19”… 104 new infections in the last week

Yesterday, Friday, the Ministry of Health and Social Security reported that a total of 104 new cases of “Covid-19” were registered, while no deaths were recorded.

In its weekly bulletin of “Covid-19” results for the period between November 11 and 17, the ministry highlighted that the number of vaccinated people was 24 million, 924 thousand 340 who received the first dose. The number of people vaccinated with the second dose rose to 23 million, 426 thousand 259, 6 million 887 thousand 268 received the third dose of the antiviral vaccine, and 61 thousand 225 received the fourth dose.

Since the first case was reported on March 2, 2020, the number of people infected with the virus has risen to 1,277,642, a weekly “positive” rate of approximately 5.5 percent.

Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (49), Casablanca-Settat (32), Fez-Meknes (16), Marrakesh-Safi (3), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (2) have registered new cases. and Beni Mellal-Kenifra (1), Souz-Massa (1).

On the other hand, the overall death toll reached 16,297 (general mortality index 1.3 per cent), with no deaths recorded in the past week, while the total number of active cases reached 113.
