Dubai will stage an exclusive professional women’s T100 race from 12–15 November 2026, as part of a new format for the 2026 T100 Triathlon World Tour agreed by the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) and World Triathlon. The event marks a major step for women’s sport in the region.
The Dubai T100 will feature the top female triathletes racing only against each other over the 100km distance, which includes a 2km swim, 80km bike leg and 18km run. The race will place women’s competition at the centre of the programme in Dubai.
The women-only event forms part of a revised 2026 tour structure that aims to improve the racing calendar for athletes. The changes include fewer events, higher prize money per race and more time between competitions so athletes can plan and prepare in a better way.
Alongside the elite women’s race, the Dubai T100 will host open-entry events for amateur triathletes and other mass participation races. These will welcome both seasoned age-groupers over the full 100km distance and newcomers who wish to enter single-discipline events.

Dubai joins Gold Coast, Spain and Vancouver as women’s professional T100 hosts in 2026. Singapore, San Francisco, the French Riviera and Saudi Arabia will stage men’s professional races. Both women and men will then race at the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final in December 2026.
“We are thrilled that Dubai will host a professional women’s T100 race in 2026 alongside the full range of amateur events it has built up over the last two years,” said Sam Renouf, PTO CEO. “This format puts the spotlight firmly on our incredible pro women, giving them the platform they deserve to showcase their extraordinary abilities. Dubai has proven itself as a world-class destination for triathlon, and we are excited to see the world’s best women compete in this iconic city. The new streamlined calendar means athletes can focus on delivering their best performances, and we expect the racing in Dubai to be spectacular.”
The PTO announced the 2026 format update in October as part of its focus on athlete care and strong competition. With fewer races on the calendar and no season-long appearance contracts, athletes gain more time to recover and plan, while each event aims to offer a deeper and closer pro field.
The amateur and mass participation programme at the Dubai T100 will remain open to all. The PTO will run a range of distances and race types so that both experienced triathletes and first-time participants can take part during the same weekend as the elite women.
