Abu Dhabi, October 20 / Fatima Bint Mubarak Women’s Sports Academy announced that the Abu Dhabi Women’s Sports Championship will be launched under the leadership of Sheikh Fatima bint Hasa bin Saeed Al Nahyan in collaboration with the WAM / Abu Dhabi Sports Council. From 22 to 30 October Fatima Bint Mubarak is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ladies Sports Academy and the President of the Abu Dhabi Club and the Al Ain Ladies Club.

In a statement released today by the academy, the competition confirms that its first edition will offer a variety of sporting events aimed at multi-age groups, including youth, adults, locals and residents. The competition includes a variety of sports such as “chess, shooting, basketball, volleyball and running” and will be held at various venues including the Abu Dhabi Ladies Club, Khalifa University, Al Hudairiat Island and Karakal Shooting Club to coordinate different teams.
