Male, 25 July WAM, President of the Republic of Maldives, presented her credentials to the UAE Ambassador to the Maldives, Her Excellency Rahma bin Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, during an official welcome ceremony at her office in Male.
His Highness the Head of State, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, said, “May God protect him” and congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Maktoum. His Excellency, and his best wishes to his country and people for further progress and prosperity.
For his part, the President of the Republic of Maldives conveyed his greetings to the Head of State, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, relying on His Highness the Ambassador. ed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, his best wishes to the leadership, government and people of the UAE for further growth and development.
He wished the Ambassador success in his duties and to improve and strengthen bilateral relations in various fields that unite the two countries.
He was proud to represent the UAE in the Republic of Maldives and expressed interest in strengthening and implementing bilateral relations in various fields to contribute to strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
During the meeting, they reviewed areas of cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Maldives and discussed ways to improve them to achieve the interests and aspirations of the two friendly countries and peoples.
