HSA Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Dirhem Abdo Saeed as Chairman of the Board — a momentous development in the Group’s 88-year history as one of the Middle East’s foremost multinational, family-owned enterprises.

Bringing more than four decades of international business expertise, Mr Dirhem is a respected and experienced leader who has played an instrumental role in the Group’s strategic growth across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe. In his previous capacity as Vice Chairman of the Board, he contributed significantly to HSA Group’s continued global expansion and resilience.

Mr Dirhem’s leadership philosophy is rooted in service, a commitment to improving lives, and fostering sustainable progress. He believes true success is measured by the long-term, meaningful difference a business makes in the communities it serves.

“It is a profound honour to serve as Chairman of HSA Group, an organization that has always placed people at the centre of its mission,” said Mr Dirhem Abdo Saeed. “The core values instilled by our founders — truth, hard work, honesty, innovation, and most importantly, service to others — continue to guide us today. As we look to the future, I am committed to building on their legacy, staying true to our purpose of enhancing the lives we touch, and working toward a strong and unified tomorrow for the generations to come.”

Mr Dirhem steps into the role following Mr Abdul Jabbar Hayel Saeed, who provided exceptional leadership for over 13 years — expanding the Group’s international footprint and operational capacity. Mr Abdul Jabbar will continue to offer strategic guidance in his new role as Chairman of the Owners’ Representatives Board, ensuring governance continuity and oversight.

HSA Group currently employs over 35,000 people and operates in more than 80 countries. Driven by shared values and a unified sense of purpose, the Group remains committed to excellence, innovation, and generating positive, lasting impact in the communities it serves.

We extend our sincere congratulations to Mr Dirhem on his appointment and look forward to HSA Group’s continued growth, leadership, and purposeful impact under his stewardship.
