Sheikh Zayed bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan crowned Emirati artist Hussain Al Jazmi with the “Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Award 2023” and awarded him the title of “Ambassador of Sports Achievement” at the closing ceremony of the 15th edition of Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship was held at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi under the chairmanship of Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Al Jazmi expressed his gratitude and pride in being the “Sports Ambassador of Achievement” and said in a blog post on his “social media” platforms: “Thank you Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Award for awarding me a title. An ambassador of the sport for achievement, I will always admire,” he said, stressing that the international award reflects the leading position of the capital city of Abu Dhabi.
