Spanish football legend Andres Iniesta today joined a number of voices in condemning Spanish confederation president Luis Rubiales and deemed his kiss with Jenny Hermoso after the Women’s World Cup final damaged the “image” of Spanish football. Iniesta, who is currently defending the Emirates club, wrote on social media: “After the incident this week, I want to express my sadness as a person, a father of three daughters, a husband and a footballer.” About “Our Soccer and Spanish Women’s Team”.

“We cannot tolerate actions like the ones we saw, which tarnish a great record like winning the World Cup,” said the man who scored against the Netherlands in the 2010 final, which gave Spain its first World Cup title. Hermoso revealed he agreed to kiss “any time” after the 1-0 final win over England in Sydney.

After Rubiales refused to resign the day before yesterday, despite harsh and unprecedented criticism of his conduct, Hermoso joined 80 players, including all players from the national team that won the world title for the first time in its history, who refused. Play again with “La Roja” if the current confederation leadership continues. Most of the women coaches also submitted their resignations.

Iniesta added, “I can’t imagine how all the players of the national team feel now when they don’t talk about the amazing matches they played and the amazing football they taught us.” “Instead, we’ve had to put up with a president clinging to his post who doesn’t acknowledge that his behavior is unacceptable and damaging to the image of our country and football around the world.”
