{NEW YORK – AGENCIES – Actress Blake Lively confirmed she will not be attending the 2023 Met Gala when she reopens her (Tiffany & Co.) store in New York City, Lively, 35, asked reporters if fans will see her on the red carpet at fashion’s biggest annual night. Expanding, he replied, “I won’t be. But I’ll take care.”

Lively has been a fixture at the Met Gala since 2008, appearing most years — mostly with her husband since 2012, Ryan Reynolds. The 2014 event was their first red carpet appearance as a married couple. Over the years, she has worn the looks of various high-end designer brands including Versace, Chanel, Juicy and Burberry. Last year, the star appeared alongside Reynolds, 46. While Reynolds wore a velvet tuxedo, Lively wore a tiara, opera gloves and drop earrings with a luxurious Versace gown. She then stunned everyone by quickly changing her outfit as she changed into a long copper colored skirt.
