Nancy Ajram, Marshmello and Black Eyed Peas attend the Gamers 8 Festival in Saudi Arabia

Nancy Ajram and Marshmello join the list of musicians performing as part of Gamers8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Esports Festival announced that dozens of artists will participate in weekly concerts on Riyadh Boulevard starting July 14.

Lebanese pop star Ajram and electronic dance music producer Marshmello will perform their own groups on August 11, and are expected to join them on stage to perform their single. Ch Sa, Coming out on Friday.

Ajram took to social media last week and posted a photo on Instagram with a marshmallow in a recording studio.

In addition, many regional and international artists from Arabic pop, electronic music and hip-hop have taken the stage.

On July 21, Swedish DJ Axwell, Emirati-Yemen singer Balqis and Egyptian Mohamed Hamaki took to the stage.

On July 28, rapper Lil Pump will perform solo.

Moroccan DJ and producer Rihab will perform on August 4, while rapper Ross will headline a bill featuring DJ Alan Walker and Egyptian electronic act Disco Egypt on August 18.

After wowing crowds at Dubai Expo 2020 last year and the Formula 1 Saudi Grand Prix in Jeddah in February, Black Eyed Peas will return to the region to perform alongside DJ Snake on August 25.

Gamers8 is your theme and gateway to the next world, billed as “the world’s largest eSports and gaming event”, where tournaments are held along with entertainment and cultural offerings.

According to its organizer, the Saudi Sports Federation, the event features more than 1,000 activities, from concerts to comedy and magic shows.

The proposed total prize pool is $15 million, one of the largest in any esports tournament.

The matches will be broadcast live on the festival’s social media channels in more than eight languages, including Arabic and English.

“The opening ceremony of Gamers8 will be an exciting event worthy of the city of Riyadh and its ambitions,” said Ahmad Al-Fishri, head of operations of the Saudi Sports Federation.

Gamers8’s goal is to bring the virtual world of sports and gaming into the physical world of games while mixing in plenty of fun, events and other futuristic factors.
