Nasser Ismail, the ministry’s deputy secretary for social affairs, said the ministry registered 4,561 autism cases statewide, with 885 women and 3,676 men making up more than 80% of the total autism segment. Social stories published over the past years cover a wide variety of social situations in which people with autism may encounter, providing them with the most important situations in which they need preparation, training, and mastery based on responding to parental requests.
