The National Theater pays tribute to the late Talal and Samir Khan

Amidst feelings of admiration and sadness, star Tonia Smirkanim cried while receiving the respect of her late parents Samir Khanem and Talal Abdel Aziz. , In the Grand Theater of the Egyptian Opera House, and in the midst of the storm of applause, the audience left both. Best Critic Amal Bakhir also received the honor of his honor, poet and critic Mohammad Bhagat.

The festival began with a short show entitled “The Egyptian Writer” starring Hamza al-Eli, followed by the opening ceremony by star Zahar al-Sayeq, which saw a large turnout of Egyptian art makers, including the festival’s chairman, artist Yusuf Ismail. Its director Ismail Mukhtar, star Mahmoud Hemida, director Khalid Galal, production director Dr. Ida Allam, and artists Muhammad Abu Dawood, Mufti Ashor, Muhammad Riyadh, Magi Sofi, Abdullah Musharraf, Ihab Fahmi, Ahmed Al-Silqawi and Amr And others.

50 percent increase in prizes

During his speech, the Minister of Culture announced a 50% increase in the financial value of the prizes for the National Festival of the Egyptian Theater, which will double the number of upcoming sessions, praising the creative role of theatrical actors in creating awareness and encouraging them to compete honestly and creatively.

It is worth noting that the festival activities will continue until October 9, and the session will have the slogan “The Egyptian Drama Teacher”, which will feature 33 theatrical performances and discuss issues of theatrical text.
