The criminal defense unit in the Syrian capital, Damascus, revealed the circumstances of a gruesome murder, and security forces arrested the culprits.
In a post on its Facebook page, the Syrian Interior Ministry received information about a fire in an Arab house in Saroja, the Damascus Criminal Security Division, after which the patrol went to the scene.
A search of the house revealed that its owner was living alone, had been stabbed several times, the house was completely burnt down, his body was inside the house and the iron box had been cut. An abrasive missile and its contents were stolen.
Through investigation and research, the Syrian Interior Ministry clarified that the Criminal Security Division in Damascus had identified the culprits and arrested them and those involved in the crime.
Further interrogation of the detainee revealed that they went to the victim’s house and brought a stick and stayed in a dark place adjacent to the house until the victim came out of the house and climbed into his house and found him. It contained an abrasive missile, multiple stab wounds and defense contents, amounting to 3 million and 200 thousand Syrian pounds, a Star military pistol, a mobile phone and equipment for surveillance cameras.
After committing the crime, they set fire to the entire house, which contained the body.
