Villarreal drew with Juventus in the Champions League

Spanish club Villarreal drew 1-1 with Juventus in the first leg of the 16th round of the Champions League on Tuesday.

One minute after the start of the game, Juventus advanced with a goal through Serbian striker Dusan Vlavic, but Daniel Parejo equalized for Villarreal in the 66th minute.

The two teams will meet again on March 16 at Juventus Stadium.

The Italian team received a superb pass from Danilo and advanced with the opening goal in the first minute through Flavovic and to start the match in the best possible way for Juventus to attack a powerful ball that knew the way to Villarreal’s net.

Alfonso Petrasa almost equalized for Villarreal in the 12th minute with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area, but the right post prevented him from scoring.

Juventus goal was saved by Wujic Chesney from a goal and Arnaud Danzuma’s back-heel shot was brilliantly saved.

Villarreal tried hard to adjust the result in the final minutes of the first half but he failed to reach his goal and Juventus advanced with a goal with no answer.

Villarreal dominated the game in the first quarter of the second half, but this restriction did not match Chezney’s ability on goal.

In the 66th minute, after getting a long pass into the penalty area, Juventus deceived the defender and after a powerful ball from the left foot hit Szczny in the net, Parejo equalized for Villarreal.

Five minutes before the end of the match, Juventus came close to scoring the winning goal when Vlovich hit a powerful ball from outside the penalty area, but Villarreal goalkeeper Geronimo Rully saved it.
