3 people died in the earthquake in the Philippines

The quake came two weeks after a 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck the island of Mindanao, killing at least nine people.

The Philippines sees earthquakes daily, especially as the archipelago lies on the “Ring of Fire,” an area of ​​intense seismic and volcanic activity that stretches from Japan through Southeast Asia to the Pacific Basin.
