Al Falasi and Al Marri won the title at the Dubai Fishing Championship

The first round of the 2022 Dubai Fishing Championship, organized by the Dubai International Marine Club for four consecutive days, concluded yesterday. Salem Al Falasi, in the Kingfish category, won first place by catching a fish weighing 27.60 kg and measuring 148 cm in length, with a prize of 25 thousand dirhams and second place.

Hasa Abdul Aziz won 20,000 dirhams with a fish weighing 25.65 kg, while Jassam Murad won third place with a fish weighing 25 kg for 18,000 dirhams.

Isa al-Marri won a prize of 15,000 dirhams for a fish weighing 38.30 kg, Abdul Qadir al-Wahidi won a prize of 31.90 kg for 10,000 dirhams and Hamdan al-Mansouri for third place in the “Skull” category. The fish, weighing 25.65 kg, won 5000 dirhams.

The winners were crowned by Mohammad Abdullah Hareb, Managing Director of the Dubai Club.

On the other hand, the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club has announced that it will begin registration for the Abu Dhabi Grand Kingfishing Championships from March 3-6. The club confirmed that there would be a meeting with the contestants before the match, to explain all the details and rules of the tour.
