The initiative, launched by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, aims to welcome fans from teams in the Gulf countries and to welcome all teams that have qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in a new way.
Each country’s ambassador to Qatar, within his country’s team that qualifies for the 2022 World Cup, raises his country’s flag in the area designated to hoist the flags of the 32 countries participating in the major global event in Doha Corniche.
