Saturday, 9th August saw a superb turnout for the Orient Travel Monthly Stableford at Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club, even in the height of summer. Supported by the Saudi Tourism Authority, the event featured excellent prizes from generous sponsors, reinforcing its status as a member favourite.
The day belonged to Bimal Jain, who played some of his best golf this season. With eight net birdies, he posted a brilliant three-under-par round totalling 39 Stableford points, securing first place and taking home top prizes from our sponsors.
Rajesh Pareek finished second with an outstanding 36 points — a score that might have taken the win on another day. His performance was worthy of high praise despite narrowly missing out on the title.
In third place, Ajaz Ahmed continued his consistent play, also carding 36 points to secure a podium finish.
Amiya Ranjan topped the Gross Division, producing a fine display that earned him 27 points and the final prize of the day.
