9th Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club Gross Summer Open Golf Championship

Mousa Marvels at SGSC Gross Summer Open

A strong field of players from across the UAE gathered at Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club on Sunday, 17th August, for the 9th edition of the SGSC Gross Summer Open Championship. With attractive prizes on offer, the competition was fierce and the leaderboard remained highly contested throughout the day.

Rising star Mousa Shana’ah produced a superb performance to claim the title, finishing with an impressive 37 Stableford points. Despite two early bogeys, Mousa rallied with four birdies to secure his victory. His excellent play earned him the winner’s trophy along with a generous voucher.

In second place was SGSC member Namir Al Naimi, five points adrift with a solid score of 32, while Riane Sallie rounded out the podium in third place also with a score of 32 points.

The Net Division delivered some remarkable scoring. Chengbo He stole the show with an incredible 48 points, including a staggering 13 net birdies. His phenomenal round earned him the top prize and a pro shop voucher. Close behind was Fatiya Khalil, who showcased superb form with 46 points to secure second place. In third was Shayan Mohammed, carding an excellent 45 points in challenging summer conditions.
