Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark Now Open to the Public Ahead of Holidays

Grand Hyatt Dubai has confirmed that the Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark is now open to the public. The opening marks a notable point in the hotel’s 22-year history and supports its position as a major urban resort. The waterpark covers 20,000 sqm within the hotel’s 37-acre estate in central Dubai, close to Downtown. It has been developed as a space for leisure and recreation where guests can relax, explore, or take part in water attractions.

The public opening comes ahead of UAE school holidays and the festive period, when family travel activity increases. Entry is priced at AED 375 for adults and AED 305 for children under 107 cm. Children under three can enter free of charge. Day passes and private cabanas can be booked at the entrance or in advance by calling +9714 317 1234 or emailing info.grandhyattdubaiwaterpark@hyatt.com.

The waterpark offers 16 main attractions, including a wave pool with a sand beach, a slow river, the region’s first FlowRider® Triple surf simulator, and two slide towers including the Boomerango slide. Private cabanas with plunge pools are available for guests wanting a more private setting. A family zone provides shaded seating and dedicated activity space.

“The opening of our new waterpark marks a significant milestone for Grand Hyatt Dubai, as it elevates our leisure offerings and transforms the property into a truly unique destination, where large-scale events, exceptional hospitality and unforgettable leisure experiences seamlessly come together,” commented Fathi Khogaly, Managing Director, Grand Hyatt Dubai and Area Vice President, Hyatt, Dubai. “This remarkable chapter in our journey reflects our continued commitment to innovation and excellence, and we are very proud to unveil the Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark – enhancing our guests’ experience in new and exciting ways.”

The waterpark layout has been designed with families in mind and includes a dedicated area for younger children. This zone features shallow temperature-controlled splash pools, soft-play water features, small slides and shaded seating. Safety flooring has been added throughout.

Four features sit within the children’s area: Drop Loop, Aqua Twist, Funbolic and Splash Planet. These activities provide age-appropriate play and introduce children to water in a controlled way. The design places a focus on safe exploration, making the waterpark one of the limited venues in Dubai with separate space for early-age visitors.

Visitors can spend the day across shaded rest areas, food kiosks and service points. Several cabana packages are available. Platinum cabanas, priced at AED 1,500, include a private plunge pool, refreshments, grip socks and a snack tray. Gold cabanas start from AED 800 with mocktail service, and Silver cabanas start from AED 400 with cooling amenities.

Dining is available at La Palma, which overlooks the waterpark. The venue offers views of the Dubai skyline and landscaped areas and operates as a family-friendly restaurant.

Grand Hyatt Dubai opened in 2003 and has since become a key hotel destination in the city. The new waterpark follows the launch of its Exhibition Centre in 2022 and further positions the property as a combined business and leisure destination.
