SilverCAT Expands Its Presence Across the Caribbean

SilverCAT, the power catamaran brand under Gulf Craft Group, has completed the delivery of three customised 34-foot vessels to selected markets in the Caribbean. These deliveries mark a further step in the brand’s international expansion.

SilverCAT designs are based on the strengths of the catamaran platform. The vessels provide stable handling, lower fuel use, wide deck areas and strong access to the water. Demand for catamarans continues to grow worldwide, as owners and operators choose twin-hull boats for comfort, flexibility and reliability in varied sea conditions. SilverCAT models support fishing, diving, leisure use and commercial operations, while maintaining control and performance at sea.

SilverCAT’s design philosophy reflects respect for the sea and the people who work on it. Gulf Craft Chairman Mohammed Hussein Alshaali is an experienced fisherman, and this background influences the focus on practical design and durability. The SilverCAT 34CC is built with fishing use in mind, offering functional layouts, extended range and proven offshore capability.

The Caribbean’s island geography requires vessels that can operate across shallow waters, open channels and remote anchorages. SilverCAT has experience in similar island regions, including the Maldives, Seychelles and Indonesia. This background supports designs suited to daily transport, work use and leisure travel across island environments.

The Caribbean remains one of the world’s most active boating regions and presents clear growth potential for SilverCAT. These new deliveries strengthen the brand’s global presence and reflect confidence in a product range developed to meet the needs of both commercial operators and private owners.

Highlights of the new deliveries

In the Bahamas, a SilverCAT 34CC was delivered in a centre-console sportfishing configuration. The vessel includes a hardtop, multiple storage areas for fishing gear and twin 300 hp outboard engines, with a top speed of 50 knots. It is designed for use across reef systems and offshore waters.
“I’ve been amazed by how my SilverCAT 34CC effortlessly handles offshore conditions, offering me unprecedented stability and speed on the hunt for trophy fish,” said Mr Xun Ren, the vessel’s proud new owner.

In the British Virgin Islands, a SilverCAT 34HT was commissioned for guest transport. The vessel features an enclosed deckhouse with seating for 14 passengers, a kitchenette and washroom facilities. This configuration supports snorkelling trips, inter-island travel and evening cruises, while offering protection from weather conditions.

In St Barth, a SilverCAT 34CC has received certification for offshore operation up to Force 8 conditions. The vessel supports activities such as coastal cruising, tow sports and dive operations, making it suitable for private use and resort marine services.

With adaptable layouts, a cruising range of up to 550 nautical miles and pricing that competes with European and US builders, SilverCAT catamarans continue to attract interest across the Caribbean. Each vessel balances durability with onboard comfort and reflects the brand’s stated commitment: Your Ride Into the Future.
