AACI America has appointed Dheeraj Khatore as Regional CEO for the Middle East and North Africa, with immediate effect. The AACI Board of Directors gave formal approval for the appointment as part of the organisation’s wider international growth plans.

In this role, Mr. Khatore will lead AACI’s operations across the MENA region, covering business development, client and stakeholder engagement, the delivery of accreditation and certification programmes, and regional operational governance.

AACI will run its MENA operations through a newly established entity, AACI Medical Services, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The structure gives the organisation a local base from which to align with regional regulations and build sustainable growth.

Mr. Khatore currently holds the position of Regional CEO for India and Africa, where he has led market expansion and organisational development. His tenure has produced measurable results in market penetration, operational efficiency, and client engagement in India. AACI views the MENA appointment as a natural extension of the model he has built in those markets.

“We are proud to welcome Mr. Khatore into this important leadership role,” said Dr. John Bell, AACI President. “His demonstrated performance, regional insight, and commitment to advancing healthcare standards align perfectly with AACI’s mission to improve healthcare quality globally.”

The appointment adds to AACI’s presence as an international accreditation body with a growing footprint across multiple regions. The organisation aims to become an established healthcare accreditation partner across the MENA region under Mr. Khatore’s leadership.
