SIBEC 2025 opens today in Abu Dhabi, uniting sector leaders and hundreds of attendees to discuss how smart technologies are reshaping everyday safety across the UAE. Hosted by SIBCA, the event is centred around the theme “Smart Solutions for Safer Communities.”

SIBCA, a leading regional provider of fire, life safety, and ICT solutions across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and Egypt, has announced the official start of SIBEC 2025 today at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi. The major industry gathering brings together top fire and safety specialists, influential innovators, and international participants to explore breakthroughs and define the future of smart, secure communities.

Taking place over two days, SIBEC 2025 provides a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the presentation of emerging ideas shaping the industry. Under the theme “Smart Solutions for Safer Communities,” the conference will explore the latest advancements in Fire & Life Safety, HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), Extra Low Voltage (ELV), Audio-Visual (AV), Lighting, ICT, and IoT. Discussions will focus on how next-generation technologies can strengthen community safety, boost operational efficiency, and support sustainable development.

Participants will hear keynote addresses from prominent figures including Ibrahim Lari, Chairman and CEO of SIBCA; Mike Brunzell, Vice President of Global Business Development at The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA); and Jared Conrad, Director at UL Solutions. Topics will cover the role of smart solutions in empowering communities, strategies for protecting buildings under construction, and the emergence of digital buildings driven by AI.

The UAE continues to lead in the adoption of artificial intelligence, with Abu Dhabi setting new standards in digital governance, infrastructure, and future-ready sectors. Supported by 35 strategic partners—including NFPA, UL Solutions, Emirates Safety Laboratories (ESL), Johnson Controls, Siemens, Carrier, Huawei, and Honeywell—SIBEC 2025 will offer a specialised programme designed to address the sector’s evolving challenges and ambitions.

With strong backing from public-sector entities and more than 1,000 attendees, SIBEC 2025 is set to become a key regional platform for collaboration and innovation, fostering partnerships that will drive the next generation of safety and technology solutions across the Middle East.
