Composer and artist Ahmed Al Hosani revealed that he is preparing to release a new album titled “Kedah Mish Sweet”, two songs in Gulf, 4 songs in Egyptian and two songs in different dialects, he noted. In Lebanon, and 3 songs in Iraq, this album is considered a turning point in his artistic career, especially since he performed different songs to satisfy different tastes, while at the same time showing off his talents in different dialects. A far cry from the classical operatic music he was known to perform.

Al Hosani expressed his delight at performing at Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi with an orchestra led by artist Ahmed Abdel Sattar under the auspices of the Abu Dhabi Festival and in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Music. and the Arts Foundation, noted that it was an exceptional concert in which he sang the most wonderful musical and classical Arabic works, and the audience engaged in a wonderful conversation. and outside the Emirates, which includes the United States, France and Egypt.

Al Hosani won the Middle East’s Best Emerging Arab Artist at the 10th session of the BFL Awards held in Dubai. Expressing his happiness at receiving the title, he said: “It’s inspiring to receive this award.” Give the best and insist on striving and striving to achieve the desired dream, hoping to be the first professional classical Emirati artist to reach the international level and to be the best ambassador of the Emirates in local and foreign art forums.
A comprehensive artist
Al Hosani, who holds the title of Middle East and North Africa Ambassador for the Old School of Opera Singing in Italy, explained that the selection for this award will select the winning artists according to the artistic standards accepted by the BFL management. The title for 2023 was decided by an 8-member evaluation panel, international judges in various fields, based on musical achievements performed during the year, academic background, unique artistic identity and display of talent and presence in more than one field, so that the musician is called a “comprehensive artist”.

Ahmed Al Hosani noted that he has recently released a few singles, including a Lebanese song entitled “The Intention Goes” composed by Ammar Al Said and lyrics by Yara Qabas, which has become a hit on social media. Composed by Der Hazem and written by Amir Al Tamimi.

Al Hosani revealed that he is currently preparing to produce a new patriotic duet-style song in which he will collaborate with Iraqi artist Muhammad Abdul Jabbar.
