Los Angeles (AFP) – American actress Anne Heche was taken to hospital in critical condition after she was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles on Friday, according to several US media outlets.
Los Angeles Rescue Services reported that a car crashed into a two-story home in Mar. Vista “causing extensive damage and a large fire.” The woman who was driving the car was “taken to the hospital in serious condition,” he added.
The American media confirmed several reports published by the “TMZ” website, which specializes in celebrity news, and actress Anne H. was the driver of the blue Mini Cooper.
The 53-year-old actress’ car first crashed into a house’s garage before crashing into a villa in Mar Vista, where she is expected to sustain significant damage, according to media reports.
Firefighters in Los Angeles said it took more than an hour to put out the fire caused by the crash by about sixty people who rushed to the scene.
Annie H participated in a large number of films of the nineties of the last century, especially “Six Days, Seven” Nights and Tony Brasco. He is best known for his role in the series “Another Ward”, for which he won a “Daytime Emmy” in 1991.
