Frenchman Moussa Diaby, the star of German side Bayer Leverkusen, is keen to join England’s Aston Villa in the current summer transfer window and rejected an attractive offer from Saudi club Al-Nasr to acquire his services, press reports have revealed.

According to the “Sky Sports” network, Moussa Diaby preferred Aston Villa’s offer to join Al-Nasr Saudi Arabia, although the latter’s offer was better in terms of the material value of the contract.

Aston Villa will pay €50 million, with €10 million in incentives, to sign the Bayer Leverkusen star, Sky indicated.

In addition to Spanish Villarreal defender Pau Torres, Aston Villa succeeded in signing Youri Telemans from Leicester City on a free transfer during the current summer Mercado.

In another context, press reports revealed that there is a conflict between Saudi Al-Nasr club and its compatriots Ittihad Jeddah to sign Brazilian Palmeiras star Gabriel Vega in the summer transfer window..

Brazilian journalist Thiago Fernandez confirmed that Al-Nasr and Al-Ittihad are competing to sign Palmeiras star Gabriel Vega: they have inquired about Rafael Vega, but Palmeiras said Rafael is not for sale.“.

He confirmed that the two Saudi sides are in talks with the 28-year-old midfielder and that Al-Nasr or Al-Ittihad have yet to assess the player’s value, but they are considering making offers in a bid to sign Rafael Vega, although Palmeras will not allow the player to leave..
