El-Shenawi was nominated for the World’s Best Goalkeeper Award

Egyptian Al-Ahly club goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawi and his South African coach Pitzo Mosimane have been shortlisted for the World Award for Best Goalkeeper and Best Coach this year, according to the International Federation. Football history and statistics were announced today, Sunday.

After winning the Neuer award last year, Egypt goalkeeper El-Shenawy has joined the list of candidates for the award for the best goalkeeper in the world, after Bayern Munich captain Manuel Neuer.

The list of nominees includes Brazil’s allison, Liverpool goalkeeper, Costa Rican goalkeeper Keeler Navas, Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper, his Italian teammate Gianluigi Donorumma, and a team of the world’s top goalkeepers led by Belgian Cordo and Thibaut. Real Madrid goalkeeper and Spain’s David de Gea, Manchester United goalkeeper, besides Newer, current champion and Brazilian player Ederson, Manchester City goalkeeper and Slovenian goalkeeper John Oblock, Atletico Madrid goalkeeper.

Following on the heels of former Bayern Munich coach and current German national team Hansie Flick, Mosimane is vying for the World’s Best Coach award, along with a team of the world’s best coaches.

The shortlisted nominees for the Coach of the Year award include Tunisian player Moin Sabani, coach Al-Masri al-Portside, German Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea coach, Manchester City coach Pep Cardiola, Argentina coach Mauricio Pochettino and Paris Saint-Germain coach Brandeis. Zidane, former Real Madrid coach, current champion Flick and Norwegian Ole Gunner Soulscare coach. Manchester United.

The nominees for the Best Coach award include German Julian Knucklesmann, Bayern Munich coach, Spanish coach Unai Emery, Villarreal coach and Argentine coach Diego Simeone, and Atletico Madrid coach.
The International Federation of Football Associations History and Statistics will announce the award winners later this month.
