Emirates News Agency – Dubai Introduces Custom and DP World Exit / Entry Certification Automation

DUBAI, July 17, 2021 (WAM) – Dubai Customs has partnered with the UAE region, DA World, a key facilitator of smart trade to improve the cargo loading and export process from Jebel Ali Port. / Entry Certificates An average of 700 documents are stamped at the customer service center, representing more than 250,000 documents per year.

The automation of the exit certificate saves time and money on the process of submitting refund claims to Dubai Customs and further speeds up the export of all types of goods.

This initiative will expedite the refund process as customers will be able to submit refund requests as soon as the departing ships are loaded. The waiting time for submission of physical documents has been removed.
