PATTAYA, March 21, WAM/ The UAE beach soccer team will look to continue their progress in the competition when they meet their Thailand team (host) tomorrow, Wednesday, as part of the 2023 quarter-finals at the Jomtien La Arena in Pattaya. AFC Beach Soccer Cup in Thailand.

Madtuha said: “We know we will be facing a very strong team and we will have to show a lot of discipline and commitment to get a positive result in the end. We are not absent from the meeting and we will do our best to qualify for the next round.

Thailand topped Group A in the first round with 6 points from 3 games, losing 2-3 to Saudi Arabia, then beating Afghanistan 5-4 and Bahrain 2-0.
On the other hand, the UAE national team finished second in Group B with 6 points from 3 matches, losing to Uzbekistan 4-0, Malaysia 5-3 and Iran 2-7.
It is noteworthy that both the first and second placed teams in this tournament are qualified to represent the Asian continent in the 2023 Beach Soccer World Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates and join the United Arab Emirates team.
