Expo 2020 Dubai hosts Ukraine’s National Day celebrations

Yesterday, Expo 2020 Dubai hosted a number of events to celebrate the National Day of the Friendly Republic, in the presence of top officials of the two countries.

In his opening remarks, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan said: “It is a great honor to be with you today to celebrate the National Day of Ukraine. I warmly welcome all of you to the Emirate. We are pleased to see the strong representation of Ukraine in Expo 2020 Dubai and we are delighted to celebrate our country’s Golden Jubilee with our families from around the world as the world welcomes the UAE to the world. The Expo 2020 motto that offers opportunity is reflected in “Connecting the Mind, Creating the Future.” Willian noted his superiority that allows everyone to learn how future technology and smart living can help create a balanced world. Expressing his appreciation to Ukraine and all Ukrainian officials who attended this special world event, he noted Ukraine’s superiority with the United Arab Emirates in innovation, sustainable development and energy efficiency. He said the UAE was the first country to host a world exhibition in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region and hoped to strengthen economic and cultural ties around the world. He pointed out that the growing relations between the United Arab Emirates and Ukraine and the development of relations between the two countries led to the establishment of the Ukrainian Business Council in Dubai and the cooperation in the economy.
