A nutritionist revealed 4 key foods that she said can help stop pesky hair loss and promote hair growth.

According to Russia Today, the expert recommended choosing about 140 grams of fatty fish (salmon, sardines, herring and mackerel) at least once a week.

“If you don’t like these four foods, there are other ways to boost your hair health,” she said, adding that another food group recommends nuts and meat because they’re rich in a B vitamin called biotin.

Brazil nuts are especially beneficial because they contain selenium, which promotes the hair growth cycle to function properly and is used in many hair loss remedies.

Other beneficial foods include bell peppers, guava, broccoli and citrus fruits.

The expert, Kanani, noted that it is rich in vitamin C, an antioxidant that reduces stress on hair follicles caused by free radicals, and vitamin C builds collagen, an amino acid that acts as a building block for thick and healthy hair. .

He pointed out that severe deficiency of vitamin C can cause anemia and one of its side effects is hair loss.
