How to update the application

  • If the apps come from the Microsoft Store, check for updates to the apps from the Microsoft Store.
  • If the application does not come from the Microsoft Store, check the manufacturer’s website for updates.

How to uninstall the app
Some applications may not be compatible with Windows 10 and may cause a flash or scratch screen. Try uninstalling the app, here’s how:

  • Select the Start button and select Settings> Applications> Applications and Features. It may take a while for your apps to appear.
  • Scroll down the list and find the application you want to uninstall.
  • Select the application and select Uninstall> Uninstall. If you are asked to confirm your choice, select Yes.
  • After uninstalling the first app, restart your device and check if the screen flashing or flashing problem is resolved. Otherwise, uninstall each application one by one until the issue is resolved.

How to reinstall the app

Check the computer monitor cable
Loose monitor cables can also cause flashing. These loose cables will light up your screen. To check, unplug the display cable and reconnect securely. Do this on the back of the screen and on the computer.
Replace the display cable
Low quality display cables can cause problems with screen brightness. If you do not know which cable to use, the monitor guide will help you. This includes the types of cables that your monitor supports.
Change the refresh rate of your screen
The refresh rate of your screen is the number of times an image on your screen is updated per second. For example, a 60Hz screen would refresh the screen 60 times per second. If a higher update rate is selected, your screen may have problems updating content at that rate.
How to change the renewal rate
Select the Start button and go to Settings> System> Display> Advanced Display Settings.
Under Renewal Rate, select the rate you want.
Update rates that appear depend on your monitor and the features that it supports. Selected laptops and external monitors will support higher upgrade rates.
