IPhone SE + 5G Analyst Ming-Ci Quo’s “Prediction”

  • March 6, 2022

We already know that Apple will host an event based on Cupertino March 8. At this conference, the technology company will unveil some of the long-awaited models such as the updated iPad Air and the new iPhone SE. Although we call it the iPhone SE3 5G, the official name of this phone is rumored to be the iPhone SE + 5G. The starting price should be around $ 300. When we talk about the less impressive iPhone, the phone will have the same A15 Bionic SoC, which is found in the current high end iPhones.

Of course, nothing is officially known at this time. But there are guides who always provide completely accurate information. Analyst Ming-Chi Guo is one of them and he recently outlined his “predictions” for the new iPhone SE. He confirmed the existence of the A15 chip and revealed some other important information.

In particular, the iPhone SE + 5G will have 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage capacities, Guo said. Additionally, it is available in three colors: white, black and red. Again, he confirmed that the iPhone will be similar to the SE (2020). But as you may have guessed, for now, it will only support 5G networks (mmW and sub-6).

iPhone SE + 5G design

Yesterday, we showed you the latest HD renders of the upcoming iPhone. From the rendering, we can see that the iPhone SE + 5G accepts the design of the previous generation. So on the front, there will be a small 4.7-inch screen. The overall design is similar to the iPhone 8. Below the screen, you will also see a rounded home button.

Also, the rear panel received almost no change. There is a camera and the logo is moved slightly downwards and placed in the middle.

Although this phone is similar to the model introduced a year ago, there is a surprise. The iPhone SE + 5G will be available in four colors: black, white, red and green, including green that Apple has never used before.

Coming back to Quo’s predictions, the iPhone SE 2022 will enter mass production this month. The company also plans to ship 25-30 million units by 2022.

Note Recent research shows that the iPhone SE 5G is not the most anticipated model for the upcoming event. People are eagerly waiting for the 27-inch iMac.
